Contrary to common assumption, I was never the bandleader of The Dap Kings. I was however leading the band on this tour in Gabe's absence. The afterparty for this gig was amazing. Sorry, no video of the party exists
I was MD on this tour in Gabe's absence
I was MD of The Dap Kings for all of Amy Winehouse' North American performances
I guess this was our last big tour of Europe. We've played Ancienne Belgique in Brussels a couple of times, I played there with Antibalas too. Great place and a great city
Me and Sharon did a bunch of these at radio interviews so it was a special treat to have Saun & Starr join us on this location recording
Doing a podcast with the band
Here's a bunch of videos of me and Amy doing duos right when the record came out and America was hearing her for the first time.
Binky as MD of a 16 piece band with strings. Featuring The Impressions, Mavis Staples, William Bell, Meshell Ndegeocello, TV On The Radio, The Roots, Sinead O'Connor, Aloe Blacc, Dr Lonnie Smith, Bilal, Inyang Bassey,,and Ryan Montbleau. This playlist includes most of the show

I heard this Stones song and asked Inyang to sing it in a mellower version than the Stones original. In 2020 The Stones released an alternate version of 100 Years Ago with only vocals and piano that is not too different from this so I guess I was on to something.
This Big Star cover was my first performance with my friend Nicole Atkins. Recorded at The Gibson Studios produced by Joish Stoddard
I'm honored to have appeared on Catie Lazarus' Employee Of The Month show. Here singing one of my holiday tunes "Wolrd Of Love"
It was my pleasure to volunteer as Valerie's guitar player when she toured with SJDK earlier in the year. She flew me down to do the show with her and it's the first time I got to play blues on TV. Thanks
This wasn't in the original broadcast
Interview with Vall while I'm soundchecking in the background
For Rolling Stone
Will Lee interviewed for The Groove Within podcast
I wrote this years earlier and I'm very happy that everyone liked it enough to go on this record. From the Saun & Starr Lp Look Closer
